Pewter Blossom Pillar Candle Holder

Handmade cast pewter Pillar Candle Holder. This delicate design makes a lovely surround for the candle and compliments the feeling of tranquillity that a candle brings. Diameter 142mm (to fit candle up to 80mm wide). Fine cast pewterware, Handmade in England. Candle not included.

CARE OF PEWTER
A great advantage of pewter is that it actually needs very little looking after. Your first thought of pewter might be of that dull grey metal tankard;  but, whilst old pewter had lots of lead in it, it was actually shiny when it was new. Modern pewter, without the lead, will never go as dull however long you leave it. However, it will develop a subtle patina over time (we’re talking years here). All you need to do to clean your Lancaster & Gibbings piece is use a soft cloth and a household furniture polish - and if it’s a photo frame, just use glass cleaner when you clean the glass.
